SILVIA

And duty never yet did want his meed. [110]
Servant, you are welcome to a worthless mistress.

PROT EUS

I’ll die on him that says so but yourself.

SILVIA

 That you are welcome?

PROT EUS

          That you are worthless.
                               [Enter a servant]

SERVANT

Madam, my lord your father would speak with you.

SILVIA

I wait upon his pleasure. Come, Sir Thurio, [115]
Go with me. Once more, new servant, welcome.
 I’ll leave you to confer of home affairs;
When you have done, we look to hear from you.

PROT EUS

We’ll both attend upon your ladyship.
[Exeunt Silvia, Thurio, Speed and Servant]

VALENT INE

Now, tell me, how do all from whence you came? [120]

PROT EUS

Your friends are well, and have them much commended.

VALENT INE

 And how do yours?

PROT EUS

I left them all in health.
