Enter one Citizen at one door, and Another at the other.
I CITIZEN
Good morrow, neighbour: whither away so fast?
II CITIZEN
I promise you, I scarcely know myself.
Hear you the news abroad?
I CITIZEN
Yes, that the King is dead.
II CITIZEN
Ill news, by’rlady; seldom comes the better.
I fear, I fear, ’twill prove a giddy world. [5]
Enter another Citizen.
III CITIZEN
Neighbours, God speed.
I CITIZEN
Give you good morrow, sir.
III CITIZEN
Doth the news hold of good King Edward’s death?
II CITIZEN
Ay, sir, it is too true, God help the while.
III CITIZEN
Then, masters, look to see a troublous world.
I CITIZEN
No, no; by God’s good grace, his son shall reign. [10]
